Delivery Group: +34% to terms of cargo turnover. Experience and developments in the first half of 2021

In the first half of 2021 Delivery Group managed to maintain the growth trend turnover and get growth 34.75% as compared to the same period last year. The percentage of customers who entrusted the company with the transportation of their own cargo increased by 64.7%. In the reporting period, the volume of cargo transportation increased from 30 kg by 67.9%, cargo up to 30 kg - by 41.1% and pallet transport by - 18.6%. Demand for targeted pick-up and delivery of cargo to the client's door increased by 6.5%. Customer trust is the highest performance appraisal. And "Delivery Group" makes every effort to ensure that the significant increase in demand for the company's logistics services does not in any way weaken the quality of their provision.

In the difficult first half of 2021, the company managed to implement many projects and there are even more ideas in the process of revision and implementation. "Delivery Group" increased its geographical presence by 24 representative offices without weight restrictions and provided the company's clients with the opportunity to use financial services at 257 representative offices. Thus, in the reporting period, cash desks with the “Cash on delivery” service were additionally opened at 79 representative offices. Sending cargo with the services "Cash on delivery" and "Cash on delivery non-cash" has become even easier!

The growth in the volume of cargo transportation required a quick response from the company to expand the area of ​​distribution centers for cargo sorting. Thus, a new “A” class terminal was opened in Lviv with an area of ​​11 thousand m2 and 40 parking spaces for trucks, which made it possible to significantly speed up the process of unloading and loading cargo. The area of ​​premises of transit warehouses in the cities of Kiev, Kharkov, Dnipro, Poltava, Vinnitsa, Khmelnitsky has been increased. The expansion of the warehouse area allowed the company to build new direct routes for the movement of vehicles! Thus, additional direct routes operate on the round-trip Kharkiv-Zhitomir-Lutsk, Lutsk-Uman-Nikolaev, Kharkiv-Vinnitsa-Khmelnitsky, Khmelnitsky-Uman-Kherson, Khmelnitsky-Ternopil, Lvov-Vinnitsa, Odessa-Kremenchug-Poltava, Dnipro-Nikolaev- Kherson, Zaporozhye-Kherson-Nikolaev and monthly new direct routes of transportation are built. In the first half of 2021, the indicator of the timeliness of cargo arrival at the department decreased by almost 2%, but it is the changes made that will significantly reduce the delivery time of the cargo both to the department and to the client's door. The company is fruitfully working on raising the level of qualifications of employees of its representative offices, which will bring the quality of the provision of freight forwarding services to a new level.

The growth in freight traffic caused an increase in the share of cargo damage by almost 9% compared to last year. The company is confident that it is direct transportation routes that reduce the number of unloading and loading of cargo into vehicles, as well as better work with additional packaging of cargo both at the department and on the client's side, that will lead to a decrease in the level of damage. Clients understand the importance of minimizing the risks of cargo transportation and increasingly prefer voluntary cargo insurance during its transportation. Thus, the amount of insured cargo increased by 82% compared to last year. To facilitate the client's work with such a painful issue of damage, the company has implemented a new functionality "Service Investigations" in the mobile application. Now, in a couple of clicks, you can view the list of internal investigations, find the name of the person in charge and his contacts, familiarize yourself with the decisions made within the framework of the internal investigation, receiving push notifications about the creation or change of the status of an internal investigation.

Providing a high level of protection and preservation of personal data of customers, the company has moved to a new, more reliable data storage platform. Clients experienced the technical aspects of the transition on their own, for some time there was limited access to data on receipts in the mobile application and in the client's personal account.
