Delivery summed up the results of the 3rd quarter of 2020

It is difficult to say that the third quarter was post-quarantine. Fires in eastern Ukraine, zoning of regions by the Ministry of Health significantly complicated the process of logistics companies to organize timely delivery of goods and ensure. Delivery wasn’t an exception, but in the third quarter key performance indicators rose slightly.

The total cargo turnover increased by 16%, and in its structure the largest increase was achieved in the transportation of goods over 30 kg (+ 17.5%) and the pallet format of transportation (+ 6%). The trend of development of freight forwarding services once again confirms the leadership of "Delivery" in the niche of large transportation.

The growth of cargo turnover necessitates the introduction of qualitative and quantitative changes at cargo handling terminals. Thus, the Company additionally expands the area of ​​warehouses, provides them with additional loading and unloading machinery and equipment and expands the staff.

One of the tasks in the daily work of the Company is to minimize losses and damage to the cargo during its transportation. By more than 60% on both indicators, we managed to succeed in the 3rd quarter, which naturally led to an increase in the number of customers satisfied with the service (+ 7%) and willing to recommend Delivery (+ 3.5%), and due to the optimality of insurance tariffs and speed of payments for insurance cases of KVORUM Insurance Company, the number of insured cargo of the Company increased by 27%.
A new competitive advantage was the service of picking up cargo from metal depots by cars with side, top and rear loading in cities Kyiv, Dnipro and Kharkiv. The plans for the fourth quarter are to cover the majority of millionaire cities with this service.
In the 3rd quarter, the company also focused on process automation by launching a delivery and pick-up service using Telegram and Viber communicators.
The number of the Company's representative offices is also growing. Thus, since the beginning of the year, our geographical presence has increased by 79 representative offices and, as of October 1, there are 418 throughout Ukraine. Taking an active part in the Franchising 2020 exhibition, Delivery once again emphasized its openness to active negotiations on the partnership opening of representative offices.
