Happy Unity of Ukraine Day!
For the first time, Day of Unity of Ukraine congratulations were pronounced on January 22, 1919 when Unification Act between Ukrainian People’s Republic and West Ukrainian People’s Republic was signed. Thousands of people met on the St. Sofia Square to participate in holiday declaration and hear Day of Unity of Ukraine congratulations.
Historically, this holiday became a symbol of the primordial desire of the Ukrainian people to live in a unitary joint state. In recent years, it has become even more meaningful. We have finally realized that only in a unity of thoughts, aspirations, and actions we can build a spiritually and economically rich country in which every citizen will feel confident and safe, a country that we can proudly hand over to our descendants.
Dear Ukrainians! We wish all of us a peaceful sky above our heads, prosperity and harmony. Let our love to our native land unite us and give strength to overcome the troubles.
