Following the summary of the year 2017, company with additional liability “Insurance Company “Quorum” increased the volume of insurance premiums by 41%, compared with the indexes of 2016. The main emphasis of the Insurance Company “Quorum” is to provide with insurance coverage activities of logistics companies on transporting cargo and freight luggage.
The clientele of the company considerably increased for the last year, which manifested itself in an increased number of signed agreements with physical and juridical persons - in average by 40.6%. The total volume of insured responsibility by the concluded agreements increased by 23.4%. And thanks to reliable reinsurance protection, the Company executes its liabilities for the clients on a timely manner.
The structure of the insurance portfolio of the Insurance Company “Quorum” by the results of 2017 is stable, the target shares internally are distributed the following way: Insurance coverage of the cargo - 95.6%, property insurance - 3.6%, insurance of financial risks - 0.01%, insurance of responsibility - 0.77%, personal insurance - 0.02%. Such indexes show diversification of the insurance portfolio, precise planning and executing strategic goals by the company.
By partnership sales channels, the Company sells policies of compulsory insurance of civil legal liability of owners of ground terrain vehicles (OSAGO) and policies of International system of vehicle insurance “Green Card”.
For January - December 2017, insurance payments increased by 24% compared to the previous year.
Insurance reserves of the company increased by 38.3%, the assets increased by 64%. The actual reserve of payment capability of the Insurance Company “Quorum” as of today, is bigger than the regulatory one by 5.6 times, which allows the Company to execute its liabilities for the clients on time and fully.
Stockholders’ equity of the Insurance Company “Quorum” as of December 31, 2017 increased by 42.5% to the same period of 2016.
In 2017, Insurance Company “Quorum” actively promoted its own brand and increased business connections by participating in forums, conferences, and business breakfasts, facilitating development of sports in Ukraine.
Following the summary of work for 2017, “Delivery-International” (one of the affiliate companies of Delivery Group) delivered 4% more international deliveries than in 2016. With the similar dynamics by the results of the year, the clientele network extended as well, 97% of which are physical persons.
Average bill on international deliveries increased by 20.5%. Based on internal analysis of “Delivery-International”, among the most attractive importing countries, members of the EU, are: Italy, Belgium, the Netherlands, and also China. The biggest export increase of the Ukrainian produce was seen for Belarus, Kazakhstan, Russian Federation, Germany, Turkey, and the UK.
From January to December of last year, the company actively worked at the service of online purchasing from the USA “Delivery-Shop”, which included 87 American shops. Considerable changes were made to the menu, customized for the users’ needs. Process of purchasing American goods at the website uni-delivery.com became simpler and more convenient, which was confirmed by 64% increase of orders by 2016.
“The company continues working at the second part of the service “Delivery-Shop” - mobile version of the platform. From 2015, the share of the desktop audience of the Internet in the world, that is the number of users, that go online from desktop computers, consistently declines. At the same time, number of people, that browse the global network with the help of mobile phones and tablets, increases with each year. For instance, number of ordering different services and buying in the Internet shops through mobile websites increased almost by 70% compared to the previous year”, commented the head of “Delivery-International” Natalya Hlobenko.
This year debut business breakfast “Customer - transport company - carrier” is going to take place at “Delivery” client service center on February 15. Providing an effective interaction between elements in rendering quality logistic services using the carrier’s portal “Delivery”. According to the results of 2017, “DelTruck” (of the affiliate companies of DeliveryGroup) increased the number of trips by 46%, compared to the same period of the last year.
The most popular directions were Odesa and Dnipro, the combined share of trips reaches 49%. Considerable interest to the Southern direction can be explained by the fact that after 2014 Odesa took the cargo flow to itself that was designated to the Crimea, which required an increase of the number of trips by full trucks. Dnipro is historically characterized as a powerful industrial center where about 16.9% of all the industrial produce of Ukraine is manufactured.
From January to December 2017, more than 500 companies used services of “DelTruck”, which is 55% more than a year before. The main driver that allowed the company to increase the client network was implementing innovative service for the market “Online order of pallets to a truck”. The novelty of the offer is full automation of the processes to order from the website, which brings to minimum of a human factor error. Each day on the DelTruck website in the tab “Online schedule of itineraries”, the schedule of truck movements is published for the nearest several weeks with an open price of a pallet seat.
